A controlled browser for the agents. Outward steps wait on a confirmation card, every step lands in an audit log, and a read-only mirror shows it all in the work panel.

A question might start in a paper, become a note, then turn into code and an experiment. Coming back later often means reconstructing the context: why this approach, what has already been tried, and where that result came from.

PIPI
My fork of PI Desktop (Electron, LGPL-3.0). I run it on Windows all day; the assistant, the jobs, the research runs, the browser and the reading workspace all live inside it.

Research mode handles focused questions. Bigger ones are meant for the institution, where separate roles run them and review never gets mixed into the research. Most of it is built; it hasn’t finished a real run yet.

The day starts with what the jobs have collected: the paper digest, the GitHub report, and what happened in the group chats. Lyra puts today’s reminders next to them.

Focused questions go through research mode. The bigger ones are meant for the institution, but it isn’t part of the day yet: it hasn’t finished its first real run.

Memory distillation gathers what the day left behind, so tomorrow can pick up from there.

A check-up体检
A health check runs once a week. New PI builds get the same care: built and checked before they replace the running one.
每周跑一次健康检查。PI 有新版本时也一样：先构建、检查，确认无误再替换。
Three rules they all keep它们都守的三条
- Do what can be done without me. Not everything needs a question.
- Ask before the irreversible or outward. Permanent deletion, spending, or messaging someone needs my yes.
- Leave a record of every step. Audit logs and receipts, so it can be checked later.
- 能自己做的，就自己做。不必事事来问我。
- 不可逆或对外的，先问。永久删除、花钱、对外发消息，都要我点头。
- 每一步都留记录。审计日志和回执，事后能查。
